GREEN-DOME with eight units (cubes) for the production of vegetables and herbs using hydroponics, distributed to wholesalers and the gastro scene in the region.
There is a demand for locally-grown vegetables all year round in the region. The proximity to Frankfurt airport allows us to incorporate catering companies into our distribution concept. The chosen location is the local biogas plant which offers excellent conditions for the cultivation and distribution of our produce.
Starting in the winter of 2021, lettuce, vegetables and herbs will be produced in the region and for the region.
The shares of «Food & Energy Campus Groß-Gerau GmbH» were acquired in May 2020 and the authorisation process started.
During 2021 we will gradually build the new Green-Dome on the grounds of Food & Energy Campus Groß-Gerau. A quick learning curve is expected, as we can already build on the experiences gained at our prototype in Bubesheim. Local sales can begin as soon as the individual production modules are producing stable crops and consistently high quality.
